Default Payment Methods and Digital Commerce: Top of Wallet Re-defined

New Format: Live in SF and NY via In-Studio Teleconferencing

Monday, March 13th, 2017

NYC Location: Deloitte, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112
SF Location: 555 Mission St #1400, San Francisco, CA 94105

The vast majority of consumers use a default method when making digital payments, with huge potential consequences for players throughout the payments value chain. NYPAY will explore the implications of this overlooked trend, leveraging new research by Deloitte, with a high-level panel discussion by card issuers, merchants, technology companies, and more.

We’ll bring together panelists and participants in the world’s technology and financial capitals, using a live in-studio teleconference format. Attend in either location–you’ll be able to interact with speakers from both.

Discussion will center on new Deloitte research into “default payments”–transactions using pre-stored payment details–which make up an estimated 84% of digital transactions. Default payments provide consumer convenience and allow for a faster settlement with little or no intervention, but that convenience has outsized implications for card issuers, merchants, and others in the payments/FinTech world

Join NYPAY on March 13 in a bi-coastal event, as participants in New York and San Francisco discuss the implications building off of new research by Deloitte.
